Fairmont State University is seeking tutors for the Center of Hope Academic Enrichment Afterschool Program in Fairmont, WV. The program runs after school, 2:30 pm–6:30 pm, with 2–3 days per week; transportation to the off-campus site is required.

Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Center of Hope Academic Enrichment Afterschool Program serves as a hub for social and educational outreach to the surrounding community. Its mission includes helping students to be academically successful.

Tutoring is offered during after‑school hours, Monday – Thursday, from 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Ideally tutors would be available 2–3 days per week. However, tutors are not required to be available every day. The program can be flexible.

• Assist elementary aged students with completing their homework
