Job summary

The Locums Company, LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD/PhD) for an on-site contract at Wellness Clinic Youth Center. The role supports adolescents and young adults with mental health assessments and evaluations.

The LICSW/PsyD will work 40 hours weekly, collaborate with medical and wellness staff, and provide short-term counseling as needed. CPR certification is required or obtainable.

Job Description

• Mental health assessments for applicants and students to examine mood, behavior, thinking, reasoning, and other areas related to emotional wellness.
• Provide training and development as necessary.
• Collaboration with mental health specialist for short-term counseling, the center’s medical staffs, and Wellness staff.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a licensed independent clinical social worker/Clinical Psychologist with The Locums Company, LLC in Washington, DC. The LICSW/Licensed Clinical Psychologist will work on-site to provide mental health assessments and evaluations to student patients ages 16-24 years. Job Requirement

• Must have Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) License in Washington, DC.
• Must have a Master's Social Worker Degree/Doctorate’s degree
• Must have 1 year experience with adolescents under clinical license
• Must be willing to work up to 40 hours a week
• Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain CPR certification

$70.00 per hour
