Think Zone Learning Center in Redwood City seeks a motivated Center Manager to own the center’s success, lead tutors, and strengthen parent relationships. You will drive enrollment, ensure high-quality services, and manage daily operations in a hands-on educational setting.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with families, staff development, and collaboration with regional teams. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you grow within Think Zone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience working with students in education, tutoring, teaching, or a similar setting.
• Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate confidently with parents and staff.
• Proficiency in K-8 math and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to develop sales skills and work toward enrollment goals.
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and accountability.
• Availability to work the required onsite schedule.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

About The Role

We're looking for a motivated, people-oriented Center Manager to take ownership of our Redwood City Learning Center.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall success of the center, from leading tutors and maintaining high-quality educational services to building strong parent relationships and driving student enrollment.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and families, is comfortable making decisions, and wants to develop a career in education management.

Previous management experience is not required. We provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Center Leadership & Operations

• Oversee daily center operations, classroom readiness, schedules, and overall service quality.
• Lead, onboard, train, and support a team of tutors.
• Address operational challenges and make decisions to keep the center running effectively.
• Monitor center performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and HQ teams to achieve operational goals.

Parent Relationships & Academic Support

• Build long-term relationships with parents and students.
• Communicate student learning progress and recommend appropriate educational support.
• Handle parent concerns and resolve escalated issues professionally.
• Ensure tutors deliver a consistent, positive learning experience.

Enrollment & Business Growth

• Take ownership of student enrollment, retention, and referral goals.
• Conduct center tours, introduce educational programs, and guide families through enrollment decisions.
• Develop relationships with local schools and community organizations.
• Lead local outreach initiatives to increase center awareness and enrollment.
• Identify opportunities to improve the center's overall performance and growth.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working with students in education, tutoring, teaching, or a similar setting.

Work Schedule

• Tuesday and Thursday: 2:00 PM-8:00 PM
• Wednesday and Friday: 2:00 PM-7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM-12:30 PM and 1:30 PM-6:30 PM

The position operates across 48 working weeks annually, with four scheduled unpaid weeks off: July 4th week, Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, and New Year's week.
