Ballast Wax, operating as a European Wax Center franchise, is seeking a Center Manager in Strongsville, OH. You will lead a high-performing team, drive guest satisfaction, and manage sales goals to deliver strong center performance.

You’ll own operations, onboarding, and coaching, with a focus on creating a thriving team culture and a guest‑centric service environment that drives growth and retention.

• 2+ years leading direct reports in retail, spa, beauty, or similar guest-facing environment.
• Proven sales metrics and revenue responsibility.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You won't be managing a schedule. You'll be running a business.

As a Center Manager at European Wax Center, you own the full picture – team performance, guest experience, sales results, and culture. You're not executing someone else's playbook; you're building a center people are proud to work in and guests love coming back to.

We're Ballast Wax, a fast‑growing multi‑unit EWC franchisee. We believe great leadership is the difference between a center that survives and one that thrives. We invest in our managers, give you real autonomy, and back it up with structure, training, and a team that wants to see you win.

WHAT WE OFFER

Compensation & Bonuses

• $23–$25/hr base depending on experience
• Monthly performance bonuses: $500, $1,000, or $1,500
• Goals are realistic – our managers hit them
• Total potential: $53,000–$70,000 annually
• Commission on personal sales – rewarded for leading from the front

Center Operations

• Manage scheduling, inventory, payroll, and cash handling
• Track KPIs – productivity, retention, labor – and act on what you find
• Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards without exception

WHO YOU ARE

We're not looking for a placeholder. We're looking for a builder.

• You own a number. You've been accountable for real sales metrics – revenue, conversion, retention – and you can tell us exactly what they were and whether you hit them.
• You develop people, not just manage them. You can name someone on a previous team you coached into a higher role. You give direct feedback and follow through.
• You recruit proactively. You don't wait for a job board to fill your pipeline. You know what "good" looks like and you go find it.
• You recover gracefully. When a guest has a problem, you don't pass it off – you own the fix, and you use it to make things better for the next person.
• You've managed a real team. 2+ years leading direct reports in retail, spa, beauty, hospitality, or a similar guest‑facing environment. More experience equals more earning potential.
• You're available when guests are. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends (one weekend shift, not both). Reliable transportation required.
