Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of director or assistant director experience
• Familiarity with Ohio childcare licensing
• Genuine passion for early childhood education
• Must hold a CDA (minimum) AA or higher degree in early childhood education or related field

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all center operations, including staff, curriculum, enrollment and tuition, plus CACFP paperwork and reports
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal childcare regulations
• Develop and implement policies to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for children, families, and staff
• Create and maintain positive relationships with families and the community
• Collaborate with community organizations to extend the center's impact
• Lead staff meetings and provide ongoing training and support to teachers and staff
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for the center
• Monitor student progress, assess teaching strategies, and implement improvements
• Apply best practices in early childhood education, including curriculum development and staff development
