Novastar Kids Co seeks an experienced Early Childhood Education Director to lead our Colorado center with a mission-driven focus on high-quality care and education. You will oversee daily operations, enrollment growth, staff development, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, engaging learning environments for children from infancy through early elementary.

Responsibilities include budgeting, strategic planning, family outreach, and collaborating with executive leadership to align center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required; Master's preferred.
• Colorado Shines Level 4+ with Large Center Director Certification.
• 5+ years in early childhood education including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Colorado childcare licensing and compliance.
• Proven leadership with coaching and team development.
• Budgeting, enrollment growth, and operational strategy experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification current or ability to obtain.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.

Responsabilités

• Direct and oversee daily operations and long-term planning for the center.
• Lead enrollment growth initiatives including tours and registration processes.
• Maintain accurate records for students and staff.
• Manage center budget and expenses.
• Partner with corporate leadership to align with organizational goals.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and retain staff.
• Develop staff schedules to meet ratios and operational needs.
• Conduct classroom observations and evaluations.
• Plan professional development aligned with the educational philosophy.
• Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and quality ratings.
• Oversee health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Manage licensing inspections and documentation.
• Engage families and community partnerships.
• Provide classroom coverage as needed.
