Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Center Director in Pontiac, MI, to lead operations and nurture a warm, engaging environment for children and families. You will supervise staff, ensure curriculum and standards are met, and build strong partnerships with the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDA, associate, or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Be a leader! Manages school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assists with curriculum implementation, coaching, and interpreting standards with teachers.
• Be an expert! Ensure the school is operating in accordance with licensing standards, promoting a positive partnership with the surrounding community.
• Be an innovator! Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things in an educational, caring, safe environment.
• Be a team player! Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
