Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher in the Wellington, FL area to create hands-on activities that meet children’s needs, communicate daily milestones with parents, and maintain a safe, clean classroom in alignment with Bright Horizons policies. In-person role with requirements including background checks and DAP knowledge, with opportunities for CDA/degree progress at no cost.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks.
• DCF 45 hours required (depending on in-state experience per DCF guidelines).
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care/daycare/preschool preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons’ policies and guidance.
