Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) in San Jose, CA is seeking a Center-Based BCBA to lead high-quality ABA care in a center-based setting. You’ll work closely with families, technicians, and leadership to ensure ethical, evidence-based practice and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education or related field.
• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• Active LBA license where applicable.
• Minimum 2 years ABA experience with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Experience conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, supervising clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop data-driven BIPs.
• Utilize developmentally appropriate assessments including Vineland-3 and other tools.
• Provide center-based ABA services to children with autism.
• Collect and monitor behavioral data to guide treatment decisions.
• Supervise and coach Technicians and RBTs to ensure fidelity.
• Collaborate with families through training and partnership.
• Deliver crisis prevention and intervention when needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.
• Mentor Associate Clinical Supervisors or BCBA candidates where applicable.

As a Center-Based BCBA at CAS, you’ll serve as a clinical leader supporting children with autism and developmental needs through high-quality, compassionate ABA services. You’ll collaborate closely with families, technicians, and leadership while practicing within a structured environmt designed to support ethical decision-making and clinical excellence.

• Utilize developmentally appropriate assessments, including Vineland-3 and other standardized tools
• Provide center-based ABA services to children with autism and developmental needs
• Collect, analyze, and monitor behavioral data to guide treatment decisions
• Supervise, coach, and support Behavior Technicians and RBTs to ensure treatment fidelity
• Partner with caregivers through training and collaboration to promote skill generalization
• Deliver crisis prevention and intervention when clinically necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community partners
• Participate in staff meetings, clinical trainings, and ongoing professional development
• In some regions, mentor Associate Clinical Supervisors or individuals accruing supervision hours toward BCBA certification
