Job summary

Kids R Kids - West McKinney seeks a dedicated Assistant Director to oversee daily school operations in line with corporate directives. You will plan and maintain programs for children, families and staff, and support the Director in executing financial, administrative and facilities tasks.

A passion for early childhood education is essential. You will lead a team of educators, develop curricula, and ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards, licensor relationships, and regulatory changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience as Preschool Asst Director
• Obtain and maintain current certificate in Emergency First Aid and CPR

Job description

To help the Director oversee daily school operations in accordance with Kids ’R’ Kids Inc. Corporate office directives. Planning, developing, organizing and maintaining school programs for children, their families, and staff. Support the Mission Statement of Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academies is the primary objective

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education
• Developing strong relationships with our children and families through excellent verbal and written communication, family involvement and positive interactions
• Motivate, inspire, guide and support a team of educators
• Develop and enhance curriculum and educational programs
• Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management and multitasking skills
• Demonstrate a complete mastery of the regulatory environment, including compliance, licensor relationship and have the ability to adapt to regulatory changes
• Help Director manage all center operations including staffing, administration, financial and facilities
• Proactively pursue the professional development of staff and self
• Encourage enrollment and develop creative ideas for bringing families into the program
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of financialreporting system in coordination with tuition collection
• Strong knowledge of Texas MinimumStandards
