You will work outdoors in varying weather, handle heavy lifting, and coordinate with funeral home staff and team members to ensure respectful service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in groundskeeping, maintenance, or logistics is a plus.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, operate machinery, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Strong attention to detail, empathy, and respect for customers and visitors.
• Basic computer and communication skills for reporting, scheduling, and inventory management.

• Engage in frequent physical activity, including walking, standing, lifting, and operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver burial caskets to funeral homes and cemetery sites on schedule, ensuring timely and respectful service.
• Load and unload caskets safely, handling weights up to approximately 100 lbs.
• Maintain delivery vehicles, equipment, and inventory, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness.
• Communicate effectively with funeral home staff, management, and customers to meet service expectations.
• Perform ground maintenance, including mowing, trimming, landscaping, and debris removal.
• Clean and maintain markers.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Assist with minor repairs to cemetery structures and equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance at the corporate headquarters.
• Clear snow from parking lots and sidewalks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Casket Delivery Duties
