This full-time position requires a high school diploma, experience with loaders/backhoes, and a strong sense of compassion and teamwork. You will operate equipment, maintain irrigation, log work, and help keep the cemetery safe and well-kept.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating loader/backhoe and other heavy equipment is required.
• Customer service or sales experience is a definite asset.

Responsibilities

• Locate gravesites using maps and prepare graves for interment per procedures.
• Maintain cemetery lawns and landscaped areas: water, mow, weed, trim, fertilize.
• Plant, water and maintain shrubs, trees, flowers, and lawns.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems and related components.
• Safely use equipment such as dump trucks, backhoes, loaders, and power tools.
• Promote safety and follow OSHA and environmental guidelines.
• Log markers, settings and enter site records.
• Complete work orders and basic security duties as required.
