Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or facility maintenance preferred.
• Must demonstrate physical ability to perform strenuous labor in all weather conditions.
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Mississippi Driver’s License.
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery and perform basic equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily manual labor related to maintenance of cemeteries and related properties.
• Mow, weed-e, edge, and perform groundskeeping tasks.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers and hand tools.
• Service and perform light maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Assist with grave preparation and post-funeral maintenance.
• Support with storm response and emergency operations as required.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
