Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and minimal experience maintaining grounds and landscaping and operating landscape maintenance equipment, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Under immediate supervision, performs routine grounds maintenance work relating to the operation of City-owned cemeteries; performs related work as apparent or assigned.
• Operates commercial mowers and hand-held equipment such as blowers and weed-trimmers; assists with other landscaping tasks and routine equipment maintenance as required during the daily operation of City-owned cemeteries; assists customers with cemetery-related service requests.
