This full-time position emphasizes safety and high-quality service while working outdoors in varying conditions. You will complete daily work orders, maintain markers and landscapes, operate power equipment, and follow strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to show respect and sensitivity toward client families in a physically demanding environment.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Work outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
• Able to operate power equipment and handle heavy machinery safely.
• Willing to comply with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds and occasional up to 100 pounds.
• Must drive a company vehicle and maintain a safe driving record.
• Ability to perform in outdoor cemetery settings with limited rest.

Responsibilities

• Receives and executes daily work orders promptly.
• Prep and close interment sites per family expectations and policies.
• Install, restore, and reset markers and monuments per guidelines.
• Maintain grounds, paths, and driveways according to weather and schedule.
• Picks up and disposes of trash and litter from grounds.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of power equipment; refer serious issues to a mechanic.
• Assist in loading/unloading supplies and materials as needed.
• Identify and remediate hazards at the location and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
