Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds and support funeral services with attention to safety and customer care. You will operate equipment, tend landscaping, install vaults/headstones, and perform routine maintenance as part of a compassionate team.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and safe operation of machinery, with requirements including lifting up to 80lbs and flexibility for holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

The Impact You Will Make

The Cemetery Groundskeeper at Everstory is a dedicated, reliable and hard-working individual who understands the importance of detail and providing the highest level of service to our customers. This important role is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of the property as well as the safety and security of the employees and visitors of the location. In this position, you will also be responsible for:

The pay range for this role is based on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions regardless of race, gender, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic. They include skill set, experience and training, licensure and certification, and other business and organizational needs. The compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

Salary Description

Hourly rate of pay: $17.00 - $18.26
