Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a Terminal Operator at our Michigan facility to support loading bulk trucks, monitor unloading, and ensure safety. The role offers growth opportunities within a company focused on quality operations and sustainable cement production.

Starting base rate is $45,000 per year. You will handle loading from silos, connect railcars, and perform tasks in compliance with safety policies. Must have a HS diploma and be able to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to work extended hours, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in year-round conditions.
• Good physical condition; able to lift up to 100 lbs., bend, kneel and climb.
• Ability to work at heights up to 150 feet.
• Experience with forklifts and tractors for grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk trucks safely, efficiently and on time from designated silos as directed by the Terminal Manager.
• Ensure each load meets customer specifications within legal limits.
• Spot railcars to connect with unloading equipment.
• Monitor unloading process and operate gates, valves and blowers safely.
• Follow safety policies and work in a safe manner.
• Clean terminals and collect daily/weekly samples.
