Job description

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  1. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, utilizing knowledge of equipment capacities and personnel.
  2. Form concrete slabs on grade.
  3. Install edge forms.
  4. Set screeds to ensure level surfaces.
  5. Grind and patch required areas in concrete.
  6. Set up laser and screeds for pre-concrete pour.
  7. Direct operations during concrete pour.
  8. Analyze and resolve work problems.
  9. Ensure crew timecards are filled out and submitted.
  10. Build effective relationships with colleagues of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
  11. Lead team members by example, providing coaching, feedback, and managing performance effectively.
  12. Perform all other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  1. Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematic drawings, and procedure manuals.
  2. Proficiency in using tools such as trowels, brushes, bull floats, screeds, skid saws, transits, chipping guns, and grinders.
  3. Strong teamwork orientation.
  4. Positive attitude and professional customer service skills.
  5. Attention to detail.
  6. Knowledge of equipment and their uses.
  7. Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  8. Active listening skills and effective communication, with openness to diverse input and feedback.
