Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Cement Head Operator I for our Brownsville, PA site. This full-time role focuses on the safe operation of cement head equipment, rigging up and down, and data collection on the job.

You will communicate pre-job and on-site progress to the customer, perform inspections, and assist with tool assemblies while supporting safety and environmental compliance through HSE guidelines and JSA processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform cement head rig up and rig down operations.
• Operate cement head equipment safely and reliably.
• Collect and distribute on-the-job data and progress updates to the customer.
• Communicate pre-job and on-site progress to customers; contribute to cost control and efficiency.
• Attend safety meetings and conduct JSA as required; follow OSHA safety training and quality processes.
• Assist in make‑up/break out of tool assemblies and perform inspections.
• Be deployable to any rig in the work area and work as part of a team.

Promotes excellent customer relations at the work site as you perform equipment rig up and rig down and prepare equipment for the job. Additional responsibilities include safe operation of cement head equipment and the collection and distribution of data on the job. Assists in communicating the pre-job and on-the-job progress to customer. Job tasks correctly performed, impact directly the cost containment, efficiency, profitability of operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through successful completion of high school or similar education and the completion of the cement head operator I level competencies. A passing score on job-related tests or meeting task guidelines is required. Capable of being deployed to any rig in the work area. The ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. Ability to work as part of a team and exercise tolerance and consistency when dealing with others. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Ensure all OSHA regulated and customer specific safety training is current. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement system. Properly and safely lift and/or move equipment using lifting tools such as forklifts, hoist, etc… Performs visual inspection of lifting and rigging equipment. Tear down and rebuild product line specific equipment as per work instructions. Perform loading of objects into cement head per work instructions. Perform hydrostatic pressure test of product line specific equipment as per work instructions. Assists competent personnel with make-up and break out of tool assemblies. Perform on location inspection and function test of tools. Supervise rig up and rig down of cement head assemblies per work instructions. Perform manual cement head jobs per work instructions. Must complete proper paperwork as needed. Conduct safety meetings as necessary. Conduct JSA specific to job tasks at hand. Assists in generating corrective action reports. Communicate processes and tool functions to customer representative on location. Assumes personal responsibility for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient, effective and professional manner.
