Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, machine manuals, directions, charts and safety regulations.
• Mechanical aptitude for operating machines and the ability to perform basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow directions and flexibility to respond to problems and changes in job assignments.
• Ability to work well with others and rotate to all workstations as needed.
• Knowledge of the building process and construction principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a team member of a cellular operating group, learn, perform preventative maintenance, set-up and operate machines and rotate to all workstations within each cell.
• Handle materials and tools, operate machines, assemble and inspect products of varying shape, sizes and weights.
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity standards and perform daily safety checks.
• Perform basic repairs or adjustments, report machine problems to Team Leader/Maintenance.
• Support in 5S advancement and Lean principles.
