Job summary

Lippert is seeking a hands-on Fabrication Technician to produce sub-assemblies for chassis by measuring, plasma cutting, and welding. You will rotate into welding as needed in the small parts department and ensure parts are kept off the floor, with proper scrap separation.

Attention to safety and quality is essential. The role is a full-time hourly position; candidates should be able to work around moving equipment and lift items as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Welding competency and knowledge of welding systems.
• Ability to read measurements and blueprints.
• Basic math and unit conversion skills.
• Teamwork and adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate sub-assemblies used in chassis by measuring, plasma cutting, and welding.
• Rotate into production welding as needed in the small parts department.
• Keep scrap separate and ensure parts are stored off the floor.
• Assist with repair work and maintain organized parts areas.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards throughout production.
