Job Title: Cell Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Sourcing & Procurement

• (1) Responsible for global sourcing, RFQ, cost analysis, commercial negotiations, and supplier qualification of lithium-ion battery cell materials, ensuring competitive costs and stable supply.
• (2) Follow up on purchase order execution, delivery schedules, payments, and exception handling.
• (3) Support material validation and localization projects.
• (1) Develop and qualify suppliers, conduct market research and background assessments of potential suppliers.
• (2) Organize supplier audits, factory assessments, and monthly/annual performance evaluations.
• (3) Participate in supplier contract negotiations, execution, and management, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and regulations.

3. Market & Cost Analysis

• (1) Monitor global lithium-ion battery raw material markets.
• (2) Analyze logistics costs, tariffs, and total battery cell costs.
• (3) Identify supply chain risks and propose mitigation plans to ensure supply continuity.

4. Policy & Compliance Management

• (1) Analyze North American policies and regulations related to the lithium-ion battery industry and develop compliant supply chain strategies accordingly.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

Expected Pay Range

$80,000 - $105,000 USD
