Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Cell Lead to supervise the Cell team and help ensure production runs at full capacity.

You will facilitate daily stand-up meetings, provide on-the-job training, ensure Lean tools are used, and assist with performance reviews and safety.

The position requires reading work instructions in English, dexterity for small tools, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in electronics assembly.
• Ability to read and understand written work instructions in English.
• Able to lift up to 30-35 pounds and use small hand tools.
• LEAN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership support to Cell team members; may include off-Fridays and weekends.
• Facilitate daily stand‑up meetings to review production schedules and on-time production.
• Notify area Supervisors when production schedules will not be met.
• Provide on-the-job training to new team members or those learning a new process.
• Communicate training requirements and ensure completion.
• Ensure Lean Tools are properly utilized: Scheduling Tools, Standard Work, Time Studies/Labor Cards, Test/Source Data Sheets, Material Bins.
• Share and allocate labor within the cell and with other cells as daily needs dictate.
• Ensure team has tools, equipment, work instructions, and training to complete their jobs.
• Report Traveler/WI inaccuracies; report shortages and inaccurate information.
• Assist area Supervisors in preparing annual team performance reviews.
• Uphold safety; follow medical and safety procedures; enforce 5S.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
