This is an off-shift position

Responsibilities:

  1. Involved in the planning of work to meet predetermined schedules.
  2. Alters work plans and reassigns work to compensate for expedited schedules, processing problems, absenteeism, or other duties that cause the work to not flow according to plan.
  3. Analyzes product attributes and determines process as it relates to the cabling operation and the use of the product produced.
  4. Complies with joint decisions and follows through as a team player.
  5. Completes equipment/product set-ups.
  6. Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment.
  7. Performs minor maintenance on equipment.
  8. Obtains materials from delivery point and services materials needs of the equipment.
  9. Changes supply and take-up reels.
  10. Removes product from the equipment and delivers to a designated area.
  11. Cleans machine(s), work area, weighs up scrap, and bills back material as needed.
  12. Responsible for the proper manufacture of products specified.
  13. Performs inspection and records the product data as required.
  14. Records the product attribute data as required.
  15. Involved in the continuing process to improve product and process quality.
  16. Personally responsible for the safety of self and others in their work area.
  17. Orders and bills back material from process and stores.
  18. Performs various maintenance duties as required by the schedule.
  19. Completes all necessary paperwork.
  20. Performs all other duties assigned.
