Job summary

FOX Factory is seeking a manufacturing assembler to produce components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies. You will study assembly instructions, templates, and parts lists, gather parts, and assemble for correct fit.

The role emphasizes maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to develop mechanical skills and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• HS-Grade education required or equivalent.
• No experience required; 1+ years preferred with controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment preferred.
• Experience using mechanical inspection or power tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory and verifies receipt of supplies.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
