The Department of Cell Biology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a faculty member with a strong research background in cell biology or related fields such as molecular biology, developmental biology, stem cell biology, imaging, or bioinformatics.
Expand the faculty team in basic biomedical sciences, including synthetic and systems biology, molecular biology and genetics, quantitative systems biology, virology/immunology, developmental biology, and cancer. The candidate will develop a competitive research program, secure extramural funding (preferably federal), publish in high-impact journals, and teach and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral associates, and medical fellows. A competitive start-up package will be provided.
