Job summary

Celebration Cinema Grand Rapids North is seeking a bartender to join the Food and Beverage team. You will set up and run the bar, prepare drinks, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction with Celebrated Service.

Applicants should be 17+, have strong communication, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends. Training in food safety/alcohol is preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Certifications for Food Safety and Alcohol training preferred.
• Able to work under pressure, multi-task, follow directions, and work with a team.
• Friendly, outgoing, and a team player.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Stand for 8+ hours, lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, maintains and operates the bar.
• Maintains safe, sanitary bar area and equipment.
• Adheres to recipes and procedures to mix, prepare, and serve drinks.
• Prepares garnishes and pre-mixed drinks.
• Takes drink and food orders and inputs into register.
• Collects payments and reconciles cash drawer.
• Follows opening/closing/cleaning checklists.
• Checks IDs to ensure guests are over 21.
• Stocks glasses, liquors, beers and wines.
• Delivers Celebrated Service to guests.
• Other duties as requested by management.
