Job summary

Consor in Florida is seeking a CEI Senior Bridge Inspector to oversee on-site roadway and bridge construction inspections, conduct field tests, and support the final estimate package documentation.

You will supervise inspection staff, review daily reports, and maintain detailed records of field operations while ensuring compliance with project contract documents in varying outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
  • CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I, CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges), CTQP Pile Driving Inspection, FDOT Intermediate MOT, IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I, Nuclear Radiation Safety, Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification.
  • Must have valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • Outdoor field environment with exposure to weather, heat, humidity, and water; ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Job description

As a CEI Senior Bridge Inspector, you’ll will be able to demonstrate a successful career in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection. The Inspector will be responsible for inspecting construction work and conducting field tests for compliance with contract documents. Provide support to various project procedures, particularly in documentation development for the final estimate package.

  • On-site inspection of roadway and bridge construction

  • Review reports from inspection staff and write summary report of all construction activities.
  • Assist with conducting inspections, observations and run materials tests and checking construction work.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily operations.
What You'll Need:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction
  • Must have the following as required by the scope of work for the intended assignment on the project at the time of NTP:
  • CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
  • CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
  • FDOT Intermediate MOT
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
  • Nuclear Radiation Safety
  • Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors

  • This field job primarily operates in outdoor work environments that may include exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
  • While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee may include frequent talking, hearing, standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, balancing, coordination, and occasional sitting or operating a company vehicle. This job may require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
