Job summary

Lochner is seeking a Civil Inspector in Tallahassee, FL, to perform field inspection and oversight of construction activities. The role requires a high school diploma and two years in construction inspection, including bridge/roadway work, or an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree.

CTQP qualification for FDOT CE&I is preferred or obtainable within one year. The successful candidate will maintain inspection reports, coordinate material field testing, and document pay item quantities

Your impact

Who you are
  • High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years experience in construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection, or an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree (requires certificate)
  • Having the ability to earn the required qualifications and certifications within one year.
  • Qualified candidates must be CTQP qualified for FDOT CE&I projects or have the ability to obtain.

Work Environment
