Job summary

EXP is seeking a CEI Inspector for the Rome, Georgia office. You will support senior staff in construction inspection and related duties, working under supervision and contributing to project quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with inspection experience or an Engineer Intern in civil engineering, and a plan to obtain CTQP/IMSA certifications within a year. This position is onsite and part of a professional team serving critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent plus two years of construction inspection experience.
• Engineer Intern with Civil Engineering degree (certificate required) with ability to earn required qualifications within one year.
• Demonstrated knowledge in CTQP and IMSA inspection areas listed below.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Inspector in performing assignments and duties.
• Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work in progress.

EXP is currently searching for CEIInspectorfor Rome Georgia office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Responsible for performing assignments in assisting Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties.
• Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress.

What your experience looks like

• High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) experience in construction inspection,or an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree (requires certificate) having the ability to earn the required qualifications and certifications within one year, plus demonstrated knowledge in the following:
  • CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
  • CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I
