Job summary
AbbVie seeks an Associate Director, Companion Diagnostics Strategy Lead within the Precision Medicine Companion Diagnostics team to shape global diagnostic strategies for oncology/immunology/neuroscience projects. You will influence development, validation, and regulatory discussions across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications
- PhD in Science or related field with 8+ years of related work experience.
- Experience and knowledge in the technical and regulatory aspects companion diagnostic development.
- Cross-functional experience in commercial and/or medical aspects of companion diagnostics is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead diagnostic strategy development and implementation for projects/therapeutic areas.
- Direct development and validation of companion diagnostic assays for FIH and registrational studies.
- Design, implement and oversee diagnostic testing and data analysis.
- Provide expertise to development project teams on diagnostic technologies, validation status, and regulatory issues.
- Lead joint development teams with AbbVie and Dx partners to meet co-development timelines.
- Serve as SME in biomarker testing technologies (IHC, FISH, NGS, PCR, flow cytometry).
