Colorado Department of Corrections in Denver seeks a Nursing Supervisor to manage a large clinical unit serving incarcerated inmates. You will lead staff, ensure quality care, handle payroll, schedules, and training while maintaining inmate medical records and compliance with ACA and CQI standards.
You will coordinate with other DOC departments, manage budget, and respond to emergencies, ensuring life/safety and smooth operations of the unit around the clock.

This position provides management, supervision, and direction for a large clinic or multiple professional skilled nursing care units for incarcerated inmates in either an outpatient clinic, infirmary, or specialized cell house setting. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Employees who are rehired or reinstated within six months of their separation will return at either their previous pay rate if hired into the same class level or based on their time in the class series, whichever is higher.
