Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Contract Development and Manufacturing Manager to provide site-level leadership across a key external manufacturing partner in India. You will coordinate development, manufacturing, and analytical activities to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost targets in a highly matrixed environment.

The role requires 8–13 years of experience in pharma/biotech CDMO settings, strong leadership, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 8–13 years of experience in pharma/biotech contract development or manufacturing
• Strong leadership and influencing skills in a matrixed CDMO environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across functions and sites
• Experience with GMP, drug substance development, tech transfer and scale-up

Responsibilities

• Provide site-level leadership across external manufacturing partner activities
• Coordinate across development, manufacturing and analytics to meet program objectives
• Drive integrated planning, risk management and issue resolution at the site
• Ensure governance, quality, and compliance per cGMP and Amgen processes
• Lead cross-functional teams to align priorities and milestones across timelines
