You will run from the Gilroy DC to Ridgefield, WA, performing 2 round trips weekly and handling drop-and-hook freight with sleeper equipment provided. Requires DOT compliance and a clean safety record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
• No SAP Drivers.
• Must be willing and able to chain as weather requires.

Responsibilities

• Operate between California and Washington hauling refrigerated freight.

Join a dedicated semi-local reefer account based in Gilroy, CA, hauling fresh and frozen products between California and Washington. Average nearly 2,900 miles per week while enjoying frequent home time, assigned sleeper equipment, and consistent dedicated freight.

Pay Details

$88,134.00 per year

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,700
• Driver receives $0.01 CPM increases annually until reaching the maximum pay rate of $0.63 CPM
• Consistent dedicated freight and approximately 2,873 miles per week

Job Details

• Dedicated semi-local reefer position based in Gilroy, CA
• Operate throughout California and Washington
• Haul fresh and frozen products in refrigerated trailers
• Run from the DC in Gilroy, CA to the UNFI distribution center in Ridgefield, WA
• Complete approximately 2 round trips per week between Gilroy and Ridgefield
• May cover routes to other distribution centers as needed
• Combination of drop-and-hook and customer live load/unload freight
• 100% no-touch freight
• Average approximately 2,873 miles per week
• Drivers may be required to assist other JBI/DCS accounts as needed
• Assigned automatic sleeper trucks
• Trucks must remain at the account during time off

Shift Details

• Monday-Friday schedule
• Start times between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM
• Average 13-hour workdays
• Average 2-3 overnight layovers per week
• Holiday work may be required
