Job summary
Herman N Logistics seeks a CDL-A local flatbed driver based in Stockton, CA to haul dedicated freight on the Bay Area routes. Route includes Stockton to San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland and surrounding areas with 48' or 53' flatbeds and automatic equipment.
Expect a Monday-Friday schedule with start times between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, typically 12-14 hour shifts, home daily. Valid CDL-A, at least 3 months of verifiable experience, DOT Medical Card, and a clean driving record are required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Flatbed experience preferred
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Haul 48' and 53' flatbeds on dedicated local freight
- Strap and secure loads to ensure safe transport
- Operate day cab trucks on local routes
- Follow schedule to stay on a Monday-Friday pattern and be home daily
Job description
Earn an average of $1,650 per week hauling dedicated flatbed freight from Stockton throughout the Bay Area. Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, home daily , and automatic equipment.
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,650

- Haul 48' and 53' flatbeds
- Driver responsible for strapping loads
- Customers handle tarping
- Day cab operation
- Monday-Friday
- Start times between 3:00 AM-5:00 AM
- Typically 12-14 hour shifts
- Home daily
- Occasional layover when running loads to Reno, NV
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to properly strap and secure loads
- Able to work 12-14 hour shifts
- Personal vehicle required for daily commute to the yard
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
