Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Retail Driver for a dedicated local Target account in the Oconomowoc, WI area. Earn $80,110–$95,000 per year with a $5,000 bonus, home daily, and a consistent 2 PM start. Routes cover Wisconsin and Illinois with no-touch freight and cross-training options.

Expect 2,100 miles per week on average, 11–12 hour shifts, and 95% drop & hook work. Hazmat endorsement is optional with reimbursement; trucks assigned and slip seating not used.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.

• Willing to cross-train and perform off-account work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to retail stores across WI and IL on a dedicated local account.
• Home daily with a 2 PM start and 11–12 hour shifts.
• No-touch freight with 95% drop & hook and 5% live load/unload.
• Assigned trucks with no slip seating; cross-training available.
• Off-account work may be required when dedicated freight is slow.

CDL-A Local Retail Driver – $80K–$95K + $5K Bonus | Oconomowoc, WI

Earn $80,110–$95,000 per year plus a $5,000 bonus on a dedicated local Target account. Enjoy home daily , a consistent 2 PM start , no-touch freight, and multiple schedule options.

Main Yard / Starting Location

• Oconomowoc, WI
• Local routes throughout Wisconsin and Illinois
• Deliver primarily to retail stores in Metro Chicago, Northern Illinois and Wisconsin

Pay Details

• $80,110–$95,000 average annual gross
• Approximately $1,550–$1,850 weekly
• $5,000 bonus
• $0.62 CPM
• $38 per live stop/backhaul
• $20 per store delivery outside 35 miles
• $30 per store delivery within 35 miles
• $50/day salary for a 6th day during November–December peak season
• Approximately 2,100 miles/week

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Clean driving record

• Able to work local retail delivery routes
• Willing to cross-train and perform off-account work when needed
