Small Potato Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Dry Van Driver for East Hartford, CT. Earn $80,000–$85,000 per year delivering palletized bottled products on a dedicated local account and enjoy home daily with a Monday–Friday schedule and no-touch freight.

Drivers are assigned late-model day cabs on a 2:00 PM–5:00 PM start, finishing around 11:00 PM–2:00 AM, with weekly pay. Hartford/East Hartford area-based operation, 100% no-touch deliveries, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A) license is required.
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions.
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must meet federal English-language proficiency requirements.

Pay & Schedule

• Annual Pay: $80,000–$85,000
• Average Weekly Pay: $1,400+
• Mileage Pay: $0.78 per mile
• Stop Pay: $32 per stop
• Approximately 1,900 miles and 6–7 stops per week
• Monday–Friday; home daily
• Afternoon/evening start times between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• Typical finish times between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM
• Paid weekly

Job Requirements
