Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a CDL-A local intermodal driver based in Cincinnati, OH. This role handles a dedicated local intermodal account serving Cincinnati, OH and Lexington, KY, with home daily time and a mix of drop-and-hook and live-load work.

Schedule options include Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, with some three-day patterns. Typical duties include hauling intermodal containers with no-touch freight and primarily drop-and-hook operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Experienced first-seat driver preferred.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Valid DOT Medical Card is required.
• No SAP drivers allowed.
• Ability to safely operate intermodal equipment and container handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal account in Cincinnati, OH (and Lexington, KY).
• Haul containers using intermodal chassis.
• Perform drop-and-hook, live load/unload, and preloaded freight.
• Maintain no-touch freight where applicable.
• Confirm equipment details with account as needed.
