Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a CDL-A Local Food Grade Tanker Driver to haul milk from local dairy farms on a dedicated account. This role offers daily home time, consistent start times, weekly pay, and overtime after 40 hours.

You will operate a late-model Freightliner sleeper cab, require a tanker endorsement, and must meet DOT requirements. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, PTO, vacation, holiday pay, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for safe operation and documentation.

• Load and haul milk from local dairy farms.
• Operate a late-model Freightliner sleeper cab and maintain DOT compliance.

Pay Details

Average Weekly Pay: $1,500
Average Annual Pay: $78,000

• $25/hour regular pay
• $37.50/hour overtime pay after 40 hours
• Overtime provides additional earning potential beyond 40 hours
• Paid weekly

Job Details

• Dedicated food-grade milk hauling

• Assigned late-model automatic Freightliner sleeper cab
• Tanker endorsement required , but not needed to begin the application process
• Assistance available with obtaining the Kansas milk license

Shift Details

• Home daily
• Possible overnight stays

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Minimum age 22
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet applicable DOT and Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for safe operation and required documentation
