Job summary

Drive Time Transports is seeking a dedicated CDL-A truck driver who will be home every other day. The role includes operating assigned routes safely, loading and delivering freight efficiently, and performing necessary inspections and maintenance.

The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record and at least 1 year of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience. This position offers competitive weekly compensation, including bonuses based on safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent CDL-A tractor-trailer experience, verifiable.
• Clean record (no more than 2 MV's in last 2 years; no serious traffic violations last 12 months).
• No DUI/DWI within past 10 years if offense occurred while holding a CDL-A.

Job Summary

CDL‑A truck driver needed, dedicated, with home every other day.

Compensation & Hours

• Weekly average: $1,200 – $1,300
• Monthly safety and performance bonus up to $0.04 per mile
• Night shift, starting time 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Two days off, usually mid‑week

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned routes safely and efficiently.
• Load, secure, and deliver freight in a timely manner.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections, maintain equipment, and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate log books and comply with DOT regulations.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent CDL‑A tractor‑trailer experience, verifiable.
• Clean record (no more than 2 MV's in last 2 years; no serious traffic violations last 12 months).
• No more than 1 on‑road or DOT preventable loss in last 2 years; no major preventable accidents in last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI within past 10 years if offense occurred while holding a CDL‑A or Commercial Learners Permit; no DUI/DWI within last 5 years if offense prior to obtaining a CDL‑A.
• No SAP drivers; no unemployment longer than 90 days.
• No touch freight; this position handles non‑touch freight only.
• All accidents in the last 5 years require a copy of an accident report.
