Transporting Logistics in the Midwest is seeking a CDL-A driver for a dedicated Target account with home weekly to the Chicago area. Loads are pre-loaded on tri-temp/dual-temp reefers and often require store unloads with a lift gate. The role covers Whitestown, IN and Demotte, IN to West Jefferson, OH with 2–3 days home weekly and a 34-hour reset. The operation runs 24/7 with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required.
• 3 months experience required for the role.
• No SAP drivers on this account.

Responsibilities

• Operate on a dedicated Target account with routes between Whitestown, IN/Demotte, IN and West Jefferson, OH.
• Unload stores when required and use lift gates/pallet jacks for inner city deliveries.
• Maintain safety and compliance while transporting goods in tri-temp/dual-temp reefers.

Job Description:

• Join our dedicated Target account running a mix of shuttles, full loads, and deliveries from shuttle points in Whitestown, IN and Demotte, IN.
• All loads are pre-loaded on tri-temp/dual temp reefers.
• Most stores are store unload with the driver observing the unload. The inner city stores will require the use of lift gate and pallet jacks.

Delivery Locations:

• All loads start and final at the West Jefferson, OH with deliveries to downtown Chicago and the surrounding Chicago suburbs.

Schedule:

• 2-3 days home weekly with a 34-hour reset.
• This account is a 24/7 operation, so shift times may vary.
• Current hours of operation 2100 - noon (overnights), 7 days a week with no set days off.

Compensation:

• Mileage Pay
• Stop Pay
• Detention Pay

Equipment:

• Top-of-the-line automatic transmission trucks hauling 28' and 53' trailers.
• The trucks can be parked in a safe and secured location.
