Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid CDL License and Medical Card.
• Willing to load and unload.
• Minimum of one year (12 months) of recent CDL experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard hostlers, pallet jacks and forklifts in warehouses, depots and/or terminals.
• Maintain a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the customer needs.
• Accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles.
• Interact daily with operations managers and depot managers and comply with safety requirements.
• Communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations and personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow all company policies, guidelines, and quality procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment daily.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and yard.
• Other duties as assigned.
