Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Brattleboro, Vermont, is seeking a Yard Jockey with a Class A CDL to support our distribution center by moving trailers safely and efficiently.

You will train under a Professional Driver Trainer, complete yard moves, log trailer temperatures, and participate in daily warehouse operations. This full-time role offers benefits from Day 1 and weekly pay, with a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• General Equivalency Diploma or High School Diploma required.
• Valid Class A CDL and Medical Card required.
• Experience maneuvering and backing trailers (up to 53') with a jockey wagon; tractor trailer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a jockey wagon to move trailers around the distribution center yard as directed.
• Check and log trailer temperatures using pre-programmed settings.
• Complete yard inventory and enter data into yard management system.
• Inspect and fuel the vehicle and trailers; perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Assist in other departments and handle store deliveries when required.
• Travel: No.
