Job summary

All American Lumber INC in Wisconsin is seeking a yard driver with a Class A or B CDL for a local yard role. The day shift runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with short-haul loads and the opportunity to be home daily.

You will load and unload vehicles, deliver materials to customer locations, back up trailers, keep stock rotated, and provide friendly customer service. Forklift training is available; CDL is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Problem solver with strong communication and customer service.
• CDL Class A or B required.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload delivery vehicles.
• Deliver materials to customer locations.
• Back up and move trailers and equipment.
• Keep product rotated and stacked.
• Provide excellent customer service and help customers locate products.
• Answer customers' questions and share company policies.

Do you have a Class A or B CDL? If so, we would love to chat! CDL is required for this position. We have an exciting opportunity to be a yard driver for a local company with short-haul loads. Great work hours. A typical shift will be during the day on Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

Essential Functions:

• Loading/unloading delivery vehicles
• Driving to customer location to deliver materials
• Backing up and moving trailers and equipment
• Keeping product rotated and stacked
• Forklift Certification is helpful. We will train the right candidate.
• CDL Class A or B Driver's License with preference for A - Required
• Shipping and receiving knowledge
• Good housekeeping skills for a clean yard
• Provide excellent customer service
• Help customers find the location of products
• Answer customers’ questions and provide information on company policies
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Previous experience with backing up and moving trailers and loading heavy equipment is preferred.
• Education Qualifications- prefer High School diploma
• Skills- Problem solver, detail-oriented, outstanding customer service skills, excellent communication skills, actively looks for ways to help customers and resolve issues
• Class A or B - CDL Required
