Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Ohio is seeking a Utility Driver to service customers, operate standard fleet trucks, and support routes across a diverse service area. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and provide safe, courteous service while meeting route schedules.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, DOT medical card, 1–2 years of truck driving experience, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years CDL truck driving experience.
• Must have valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Able to read maps and communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, on a safe and compliant basis.
• Operate various trucks and complete routes as assigned.
• Enter/exit the truck 300–500 times per day as required.
• Log route activity and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and maintain truck cleanliness.
