Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle (trash truck, roll-off truck, etc.) to collect waste and recyclables.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Load, transport, and unload trash, recycling, and other waste materials at designated disposal facilities.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE use.
• Assist with vehicle cleaning and maintenance tasks, and document daily logs.
• Communicate with dispatchers to ensure route efficiency and timely service.
