Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Vehicle Operator to transport personnel and cargo on Maxwell AFB. This full-time onsite role requires a CDL Class A or B, P and S endorsements, and a current DOT medical card.

You will work a flexible schedule, present a professional appearance, and participate in the DOT program; essential duties include driving, vehicle inspection, loading/unloading, and accurate trip records.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with P and S endorsements.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Receive refresher training as required.
• CPR/First aid certification.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Drives assigned vehicles transporting passengers and cargo to various locations within and outside the military installation.
• Operates a variety of vehicle types (cars, trucks, vans, buses).
• Maintain accurate trip records and report vehicle discrepancies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and required documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Present a professional appearance and work a flexible schedule.
• Participate in the DOT program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
