Job summary

MPS Group, Inc. seeks a CDL/VAC Truck Operator to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs Facility in Middletown, OH. You will load/unload equipment and set up hydro-blasting hoses and industrial vacuum hoses for job-specific tasks.

The role involves operating vacuum trucks, handling hoses weighing up to 100 lbs., performing high‑pressure cleaning, and ensuring compliance with DOT and applicable laws. A valid CDL is required and background/drug tests will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test and physical.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate industrial vacuum trucks; lift and pull hoses up to 100 lbs.; climb on equipment up to 12 ft.
• Perform high‑pressure cleaning operations; safely set up and dismantle hoses and tools.
• Review waste documentation (manifests, bills of lading, land disposal forms) for accuracy.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and all local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform additional manual labor duties in industrial settings as assigned.
