Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a safety-minded Tanker Driver in Worcester, MA to operate a cryogenic CO2 tanker with a 10+ deliveries per day schedule within the Greater New England area. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and $30.00/hr compensation with overtime are offered.

Responsibilities include safe delivery to customer tanks, DOT-compliant vehicle inspections, and coordination of maintenance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL with Tanker endorsement; Hazmat preferred and can be obtained within 60 days.
• No more than 2 traffic convictions or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• No DUI or controlled substance violations in the last 7 years.
• 1 year of CDL driving in the last 5 years or a trucking school certificate.

Responsabilités

About the Role

Airgas National Carbonation (ANC) is a specialized division of Airgas that focuses on delivering CO2 (carbon dioxide) to support drink carbonation for businesses such as restaurants, bars, craft breweries, fast-food locations, and entertainment venues. As a Bulk CO2 Driver, you will operate a cryogenic tanker, making roughly 10+ deliveries per day to replenish onsite cryogenic delivery systems known as Microbulk tanks. All ANC trucks are modern day cabs with automatic transmissions. We utilize an efficient slip-seat operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Delivery: Safely transfer bulk CO2 product from the Airgas truck to the customer’s tank utilizing a hose hook-up.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company maintenance checklists.
• Collaboration: Ensure the route truck remains in proper, safe working order, and coordinate routine or required maintenance on a timely basis.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL with Tanker endorsement and no air brake restriction. Hazmat endorsement preferred at time of application; candidates willing to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire will also be considered (costs fully covered by Airgas).
• No more than 2 traffic convictions or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last 7 years.
• Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years OR a Certificate of Completion from a trucking school (completed in the last 12 months).

Preferred Qualifications

• CO2 or any specialty gas experience is a plus, but not required. We will train!
