Job summary

Heartland Co-Op in Nebraska City, NE is seeking a part-time CDL driver to transport materials between destinations, following state and federal regulations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to destination.
• Maintains truck log according to regulations.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Loads and unloads truck and cleans compartment after unloading.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance including pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Supports location and Feed Mill Operator to maintain production schedule.
• Keeps trucks clean to project a positive image.
• Maintains CDL with endorsements and DOT physical.
